Product Overview

AGREX Radiator Coolants are advanced ethylene glycol-based thermal management fluids designed to protect internal combustion engine cooling systems. Available as both a Concentrate (to be diluted with water) and as a pre-mixed Ready-to-Use (RTU) fluid, AGREX coolants are formulated with Organic Acid Technology (OAT) or hybrid inhibitors. They provide effective heat transfer, raise the boiling point to prevent overheating, lower the freezing point, and protect aluminum, copper, solder, and cast iron components from rust and cavitation.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Excellent Heat Dissipation: Optimizes thermal transfer, keeping the engine at its ideal operating temperature.
  • Multi-Metal Protection: Prevents electrolytic corrosion and pitting in aluminum heads, radiators, and iron blocks.
  • Anti-Scale Formulation: Formulated to prevent hard-water scale and chemical deposits, keeping coolant tubes clear.
  • Water Pump Lubrication: Lubricates the water pump shaft seal, preventing leaks and premature pump failure.

Applications & Suitability

  • Radiators of petrol and diesel passenger cars, SUVs, and commuter vans.
  • Heavy-duty commercial trucks, highway buses, and long-haul transport vehicles.
  • Agricultural tractors and harvesting machinery operating in dusty, high-load conditions.
  • Stationary diesel generators and industrial cooling systems.

Frequently Asked Questions

Technical and compliance queries answered by MniGlobal's engineering experts.

What is the difference between Coolant Concentrate and Ready-to-Use (RTU) Coolant?
Coolant Concentrate is pure ethylene glycol and corrosion inhibitors; it must be mixed with demineralized water (typically 1 part coolant to 2 or 3 parts water) before pouring. Ready-to-Use (RTU) coolant is pre-mixed with pure demineralized water at the factory and can be poured directly into the radiator.
How often should I replace my vehicle radiator coolant?
Modern AGREX Organic Acid Technology (OAT) coolants can last for up to 3 to 5 years, or 100,000 km in passenger cars. Standard mineral coolants should be flushed and replaced every 2 years. Always check for color changes or sediment.
Can I mix green and red coolants?
We advise against mixing different colored coolants. Different colors usually indicate different chemical inhibitor packages (IAT vs OAT). Mixing them can cause chemical precipitation, forming a jelly-like sludge that blocks the radiator tubes.
