Product Overview

AGREX Synthetic Brake Fluids (DOT 3 and DOT 4) are high-boiling point hydraulic fluids designed for passenger cars, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles. Engineered to withstand high braking temperatures, they maintain low compressibility to ensure responsive pedal feel and reliable braking pressure. Their high dry and wet boiling points prevent vapor lock (the formation of compressible steam bubbles in brake lines) during heavy braking down hills or under heavy loads. Special additives protect internal master/slave cylinders and rubber seals from corrosion and swelling.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Vapor Lock Prevention: High boiling points prevent fluid vaporization under heat, keeping the brake pedal firm.
  • Corrosion Inhibition: Protects copper-alloy lines, steel cylinder bores, and aluminum caliper components from rust.
  • Seal Protection: Formulated with exact chemical balance to prevent swelling or shrinkage of rubber cups and seals.
  • ABS Compatibility: Low viscosity at sub-zero temperatures ensures rapid cycling of valves in anti-lock braking systems.

Applications & Suitability

  • Hydraulic disc and drum brake systems in passenger cars, vans, SUVs, and commercial trucks.
  • Clutch hydraulic systems in vehicles requiring DOT 3 or DOT 4 synthetic fluids.
  • Modern vehicles equipped with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and ESP (Electronic Stability Program).

Technical Specifications

AGREX Brake Fluids are manufactured in compliance with strict Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

Frequently Asked Questions

Technical and compliance queries answered by MniGlobal's engineering experts.

What is the difference between DOT 3 and DOT 4 brake fluid?
DOT 4 brake fluid has higher minimum dry and wet boiling points than DOT 3, making it suitable for high-performance passenger cars, heavy vehicles, and motorcycles that operate under higher brake thermal loads. DOT 4 can generally replace DOT 3, but always follow your vehicle manual.
Why does brake fluid need to be changed regularly?
Brake fluids are hygroscopic, meaning they absorb moisture from the air over time. As moisture content increases, the boiling point of the fluid drops significantly (from the 'dry' level to the 'wet' level). High moisture also causes internal rust. We recommend changing brake fluid every 2 years or 40,000 km.
