Product Overview

AGREX 20W50 Motor Oils are premium high-viscosity lubricants formulated to meet the challenging thermal demands of high-displacement cruiser motorcycles (including Royal Enfield), older passenger cars, and vehicles operating under high-load conditions in hot climates. By using thermally stable base oils and high-molecular weight polymers, AGREX 20W50 maintains its thick protective oil film at elevated temperatures, preventing oil vaporization, reducing combustion chamber oil burning, and ensuring maximum noise reduction in air-cooled engines.

Key Features & Benefits

  • High Thermal Resistance: Viscosity remains stable under severe operating heat, preventing metal-to-metal contact.
  • Reduced Oil Consumption: High viscosity index minimizes oil evaporation and ring bypass, reducing oil top-up frequency.
  • Excellent Clutch & Gearbox Protection: JASO MA2 friction properties ensure perfect wet clutch engagement and protect gearbox pinions.
  • Engine Noise Suppression: Cushions moving parts, dampening engine valve noise in large air-cooled cruiser engines.

Applications & Suitability

  • High-capacity cruiser motorcycles (Royal Enfield 350/500cc models, custom cruisers).
  • Air-cooled 4-stroke motorcycle engines operating in high-ambient temperature regions.
  • Older passenger cars and commercial utility vehicles showing high oil consumption or wear.

Frequently Asked Questions

Technical and compliance queries answered by MniGlobal's engineering experts.

Why do Royal Enfield and cruiser bikes require 20W50 engine oil?
Many cruiser motorcycles use large, air-cooled engines. Unlike water-cooled engines, air-cooled engines run significantly hotter, especially in stop-and-go city traffic. AGREX 20W50 features a high kinematic viscosity (approx. 19 cSt) that prevents the oil from thinning out under intense heat, protecting the engine cylinders from scoring.
Can I use AGREX 20W50 in standard commuter bikes?
If your bike manual recommends a 10W30 or 20W40 oil, using 20W50 may increase drag and reduce fuel efficiency. However, in very hot summer conditions or for highly worn engines, 20W50 can help restore compression.
How does AGREX prevent gear wear in motorcycles?
Motorcycle engine oil also lubricates the gearbox. The extreme pressures between gear teeth can tear apart standard oils. AGREX 20W50 is formulated with high shear-stability index (SSI) polymers that resist mechanical cutting, keeping gears protected.
